Well hello Gorgeouses!!
I am so sorry for my absence! I had no idea it'd be so crazy for so long. I've had so many life changes happen since the summer that blogging and doing video tutorials was not even an option for me. I thought it would be but I was so wrong. Yikes!
Well I'm happy to say that I'm officially back. Woot! Where have I been? Well let me give you the long and short of it. Hahahaha....
- I was planning and coordinating my destination wedding.
- All while working and commuting between Seattle and Los Angeles.
- THEN, getting married and having said wedding... LOL
- Then returning from our honeymoon and getting our apartment ready for the movers, who came two days later (I know, pretty tight schedule and pretty crazy!).
- Getting to our new home and waiting for our stuff to arrive 2 days later.
- Unpacking...
- Unpacking....
- Unpacking....
- Situating and decorating, etc.
- .........
- R&R after the mayhem!!!
Well we are finally done and have the house in order (thank god!). The makeup studio is mostly in working order (doubly thankful!!), however it's not quite ready for tutorials yet but I think after Thanksgiving it should be. :-D Moving is stressful and exhausting. I do not like it!
It's been a whirlwind and I can't believe we are in November already! Where has the time gone!? I know this Thanksgiving I will be very thankful for a lot of things; that's for certain.
I've got some things planned that are coming up, including a giveaway that I never got to before I left for our wedding. Geesh! LOL It's good to be back so hopefully you're all still here too.
Here is a quick LOTD I did before the studio lighting was up. There are a couple of things going on that you should note (here I go with the bullets again!) aside from the horrible lighting:
- I've got a HUGE shine spot right in the middle of my forehead that looks like I've just worked out or something.... gross.
- It turns out that the new foundation I was trying out has an SPF in it. Ugh! I had no idea until after the fact.DO NOT wear any products w/an SPF in it b/c they can either make you look like a ghost or like an oily shiny mess like I do.
- You've heard it all before but I will say it again: if you're having flash photography done, stay away from foundations, primers and moisturizers with an SPF in it. SPF's are meant to reflect light which, if in your makeup products; especially foundation, reflects light from the flash, resulting in your face looking brighter than than the rest of your skin or you looking like a shiny oil slick. :-(
- I need a brow wax. Ha!
- Love the eyelashes as much as I do. They're fab.
How have you all been? What you up to these days and months? Got any requests for me? TALK TO ME!! ;-)
Muah!
