You can buy these in a set for the face and body, face only, body only, or individual towels for the face and body. These are available everywhere! You can find them at Sephora, CVS Beauty 360 Stores, Amazon, and the Tan Towel website. I highly recommend you check out Home Shopping Network (HSN) first though because you will probably get the best deal there! I found in my research that for less money or the for around the same price as retail, you can get a kit at HSN that has more product (towels) in it. Usually the better deal!!
They Describe It As:

I bought one body Plus towel at my local CVS that had a Beauty 360 in it. These towels come in two tanning shades: Classic and Plus
- The Classic is described to be for Fair to Medium skin tones.
- The Plus is described to be for for Medium to Dark skin tones - a deeper, darker formula.
I got the Plus because I like to be really tan and look like I've been on vacation. Lol I don't use tanning beds and have always relied on self tanning sprays and lotions during the spring/summer months to get some color. The towel appealed to me because it sounded easy to apply and there was no mess!
Pros:
These are incredibly easy to use and very easy to apply! In a word: they're foolproof. One body towel was enough to do my entire body and face. There was the faintest fresh scent to the towel and not that overpowering "fake tanner" smell that you can expect with most self tanners. I did notice that smell, however, after about 6 - 8 hours when the tan started to develop.
There was NO streaking whatsoever on my body. This was my main concern with using this towel and I was so happy that it didn't streak. I was shocked that there wasn't any to be honest! If you have used this and you streaked, it is probably due to not exfoliating prior to use. This is a MUST before using any at home tanner to ensure an even and smooth coverage.
*Bonus - it didn't stain my sheets!
Cons:
I barely had a tan! I certainly didn't look anything close or like the darkness of the model in the picture above! I think you need to buy an entire kit and use it every couple days to build up your tan, then use one towel per week or so to maintain it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this so I only bought the one towel to try. Now I know. The color was faint but it was a nice brown based tan and was not orange at all. It wasn't noticeable but if you know me, it looked like my arms had a faint glow to them; ever so faint.
Betty Says: I will definitely be buying a full kit of this. There is so much potential with these!! They are so easy to apply, take no time at all and are half the cost of the St. Tropez that I usually use, which is $40/bottle and you have to use SO much of the product to cover your body. The St. Tropez takes me so much longer to apply too (about 20 mins. or so) and it gets everywhere.
Have you tried the Tan Towel? What are your thoughts?
Have a beautiful day!
Betty xx
