March Products: the Good, the Bad & the Ugly

Hello Babes!

My picks and reviews of fave and failed products for March is here! Which ones made my top list?

PRODUCTS

The Good:

Lush Lip Tint in Latte (Retail $6.95US): This is a bronzey coffee color great for most anyone to wear. Powdered coffee, icing sugar and vanilla give this tint a creamy, latte flavor to compliment the color. Yum!

Tarte The Miracle of Maracuja Oil Set (avail on QVC Retail $65.94US): A set worth $200+ dollars if you were to buy each product separately!  Everything you need to do a complete look is provided for you.  This is a great value and all-in-one kit for anybody.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks (Retail $19.00US): Long lasting, smudge proof, budge proof, non-drying lipstick that is amazing!! Bambi is similar to MAC Candy Yum Yum and Outlaw is an exact color dupe to Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella.  I will deffo be getting more of these!

Milani Illuminating Face Powders (Retail around $9.49US):  I don't really get an illuminating finish to these, however I think they're a great multi-purpose product. I have Hermosa Rose and Amber Nectar and I use them as blushes and light bronzers. I can't find the pink one for the life of me (Beauty's Touch)! Sad face.

MAC Tres Cheek Blushes (Retail $20.00US): These blushes are divine and multi-purpose! You can use them on your face, your eyes, your lips and body. These are, by far, my favorite MAC product in a long time and one of my favorite beauty products of the year. Bible!

Laura Geller Baked Body Frosting All Over Bronzer (Retail $45.00US): This is my new favorite bronzer for face and body. It lasts all day and night and I had to work to get it off in the shower off my body.  If you want that JLo Glow, get this.  If you have an event and don't want to do a tanner, I can't recommend this product enough!  It makes legs look longer, leaner and sculpted.  In a word: divine.

Wrap, Snap and Go! Comfort Hair Rollers (Retail around $9.99+US): Soft and comfortable to sleep in - it lays nice and flat so you don't feel like you're wearing rollers (like the harder Conair ones, which I love as well)! These can be used on wet or dry hair and the curl is beautiful. I didn't have high hopes for this when I bought it but it actually works! My curls lasted several days and got softer and more voluminous with each day. Unbelievable!

The Bad:

Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss in Peaceful (Retail $21.00US): Pretty packaging but it's deceiving... the container is only half full! Not a lot of product for a sheer nude pink lip gloss that is very dupable -- you probably already have a shade like this in your stash.

Covergirl Blast Flipstick in Stunner (Retail about $7.99US): These don't do what they are advertised to do - which is being able to wear both colors to get that ombre effect.  The texture feels chunky and it didn't last long on my lips. The colors, once applied, appear too similar to get the ombre effect and blend together - there's no significant difference like in the adverts.

MyGlam Crease Brush (only available through MyGlam Bag monthly subscription): This brush is of mediocre quality. After washing, it the hairs completely splayed out and lost it's dense shape. While using it, it only got bigger and fluffier. It's not the greatest brush in the world but it can do the job ok. Might be better for a travel brush.

The Ugly:

No 'ugly' products this month! Yay!

Check back next month and see which products made it on to the Good, the Bad or the Ugly list!

Have a beautiful day!
