April MyGlam Bag Review


Girl's Night Out is this month's theme! Check out what we got...



April's MyGlam Bag did NOT disappoint this month!  I am very happy with everything, right down to the cool makeup bag.  Let's see what was in this month's bag:


Dermstore Lip Quench (Retail $12.00US): This is a very thick, moisturizing and hydrating lip treatment. It has a hint of pink color to it which makes it great for layering over matte lipsticks for a shiny finish. The scent is like passion fruit and I want to eat it! LOL  I am really enjoying this lip product.



All-Belle Eyelashes: They say you can wear these up to 10 times but to be honest, they don't feel very well made to last 10 wears.  I barely eek out 10 wears with my MAC eyelashes and they're made really well.  What I like about the All-Belle lashes is the extra length of band they give you on each side so you can ensure an absolute custom fit to your eye. I'll do a follow-up review on these.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Junkie (Retail $19.00US): This is a beautiful teal color. I don't see it on the UD website so I'm wondering if this color is left over from another promotion.  I hope I can buy a full size of it soon because it's fantastic!  If not, I'm sure I can find a similar dupe. It's wonderful.




MyGlam Angle Brush & Small Shader Brush (available exclusively w/monthly subscription): Yay, two more brushes! I hope these fair better than the crease brush did. I think with their smaller sizes they have a much better chance! Stay tuned for a follow-up review.

  2. I'm glad you were happy with your glam bag - i have read/watched so many horrid reviews I'm quite petrified of the Company lol! I'm pretty sure that UD liner was from a christmas set a couple of years back because I have one in the smaller size too? Can't remember what else come with it but I love it for the lower lash line "POP" ;)

  3. @ stacie - UD put out a set of mini liners for xmas but i'm not sure if this color was included with that.

    re: glam bag: i've read and seen a lot of negative stuff online too and some of it is REALLY harsh and unwarranted, some of it is fair. you've read my honest opinion here however keep in mind that this is a new concept that is still in it's infancy and people aren't giving MyGlam Bag any wiggle room. they are listening to the feedback and it takes time to implement it. all we can do is be patient and allow them to address all or as many of the concerns as they can. ;) i'm absolutely going to stick with it and i'm noticing it's really starting to get a little better with each month. :D
