- Tons of styles to choose from
- Long lasting
- There is nothing like this on the market - these are very unique and original!
- Great to wear as an accent piece or main focus to your makeup look
- Difficult to apply until you get used to it
- A little pricey for 3 applications. I would like to see 5 in the package for the cost.
- Feels weird at first
(these photos were taken on my iPhone so I apologize for the wonky quality!)
Overall Opinion:I love these! There, my review is done. Haha! Just kidding. Seriously though, these are so unique and so fun to wear. I must've been stopped every 5 seconds from people asking me about my lips! It definitely took some getting used to with the application of these but once you get the hang of it, it's SO ON. I got these in the pink and white polka dots, the rainbow and the black and white stripes. I find that using a tea/dish towel seems to work best for application instead of a cotton ball as suggested. Also, definitely wait the recommended five minutes before applying anything to the lips so as not to disturb the tattoo and to allow it to fully set and adhere to your lips. I like putting a creamy clear balm over these (EOS lip balm) or a wicked glossy high shine lip gloss to really make them pop (MAC lip glass in Clear).
Mine lasted the full 8 hours and beyond. It did start to break down a bit after about the 6 hour mark around the corners of my mouth, but that's to be expected if you're eating and drinking normally. I still had to use a makeup remover to take them off at the end of the day. While I did struggle at first with getting used to putting these on, with a little patience and trying again, these are totally worth it. I still wish they had 5 applications in the package instead of 3 though. I definitely recommend these if you haven't checked them out yet.
