In honor of Tim Burton’s upcoming film, Alice in Wonderland, Urban Decay is launching a magical Book of Shadows at select Sephora stores and Sephora.com on December 28th.
Inside a hidden drawer lies 16 best-selling eyeshadows, with names like White Rabbit (white - 2nd Row, 2nd Column), Midnight Tea Party (golden beige - 3rd Row, 3rd Column), Mad Hatter (reddish brown - bottom row, 3rd Column), Queen (shimmery mauve - top Row, last Column), Mushroom (muted grey - 3rd Row, 2nd Column), Jabberwocky (black - bottom row, last column), Oraculum (shimmery golden orange - top Row, 3rd Column) and (of course!) Alice (bright blue - top row). A travel-size Primer Potion and two 24/7 Eye Pencils are also included. No price point has been announced. I'll keep digging to see what I can find.

Eeeep!! Are you as excited about this as I am?
This looks amazing!!!!!! xx
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally want this! I am a huge Cheshire Cat fan and I absolutely love this set. Even though I hate UD's glittery eye shadows because of the horrible fall out (I never experience the same sort of fall out with my mineral shadows or my MAC), I have to have this.
ReplyDelete@ phyrra - you get fallout from their glitter eye shadows?? i've never experienced that before. hmm...maybe it's the brush you're using? this palette looks like such fun and the art inside is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThe colors I have that give me nasty fallout are: Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Grifter, Oil Slick, Uzi, Kiddie Pool, Cherry.
ReplyDeleteI do fine with Sellout, Asphyxia (which unfortunately has horrid color payoff though), Half-Baked, Twice-Baked and Frigid.
I particularly love Half-Baked and Frigid.
Originally all my brushes were MAC. Now I also have a lot of ecoTools, taklon brushes, Medusa's Makeup and some sonia kashuk. I think the ecoTools are as good as the MAC, and better in some cases.
I wantsssss it! My preciousssssss!
ReplyDelete@ blix - buahahaha!! that was awesome. next Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteCosmetics are clearly unnecessary and are produced by a massive and wasteful industry. We can choose to change our cultural values. After all, Natural is Green.

thanks Canada Guy for your comment! we are all entitled to our opinions and here on my blog, ALL opinion are welcome, albeit not always shared or agreed upon. thanks for stopping by! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Betty, thanks for your kind remarks as well. I know I'm not sending a popular message, but with the situation the world is in, I think it's important to send. Thanks again for your civility. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea they were launching a new palette. Does it have more matte shades? I LOVE UD eye shadows -they're actually my favourite in terms of quality ;) Gosh, I can just see them flying off the shelves. Darn it for launching on boxing day - the stores will be crazy!!
ReplyDelete@ phyrra - if you're not a big fan of UD's shadows, this may not be the palette for you. these colors are UD's best sellers renamed in homage to Alice. see if you already have some of the colors in the palette. you can see them in my updated post!
ReplyDeleteI'm completely torn with this one - I LOVE the packaging but think I probably have dupes for most of the shades or in some cases the actual shadows from BOS2/Ammo palette.
ReplyDeleteThe packaging is rather special though!
x
I love this!!! I keep checking Sephora, and it's not listed yet. Any news?
