Look of The Day: MAC Haute High Jinks

The MAC Holiday collection Magic, Mirth and Mischief has released some gorgeous sets of lip, eye, face and brush sets. They make it too easy and pretty to want to buy everything!!!

Well, one of the things I picked up was the Haute High Jinks Warm Mini Pigment/Glitter Set mainly because it had Jardin Aires in it. That pigment has been a discontinued item for a while now and people who have it are selling it at a ripoffwickedhighyououghttabeashamed price! *sigh* So I got my hot little hands on it and this is the look I did last Friday night for a special dinner out to celebrate my guy's parents upcoming 39th Wedding Anniversary. It was their last night in LA so we wanted to do something extra special before sending them off back home. ;-)

This is a very sparkly/glittery look because I wanted to shine! If it's too sparkly for you, I suggest trading out some of the pigments for matte eyeshadows to tone it down a bit.

The pigment set (which I know you've all seen and some of you have.):

  4. Great use of the pigment set! I picked up the mini pigments set too and I love Museum Bronze in particular.
Wow, the MAC Smolder on your lower lash line looks almost navy bluish on you! Very cool...maybe it's from layering it on top of the brownish colours?
